Welcome the Black-faced Spoonbills with a Half-Day Fun Tour of Taijiang
As the weather turns cooler with the coming of autumn, migratory birds also set off for the south to escape the cold. Want to see black-faced spoonbills, stilt plovers, and black-bellied terns up close, but worried about traffic? Look no further than Taijiang National Park’s holiday guided bus tour "Taijiang Fun Tour" Black-faced Spoonbill Shuttle Route!
Visitors can choose to embark from Wei-Yat Grand Hotel or Crowne Plaza Hotel in Anping District, and enjoy a half-day tour by a shuttle tour bus. Attractions in the itinerary include Taijiang National Park Visitor Center, Qigu Black-faced Spoonbill Bird Watching Pavilion, and the unique Black-faced Spoonbill Ecology Exhibition Hall. Through commentaries by knowledgeable volunteer guides, visitors learn about the habitats and habits of black-faced spoonbills as well as other winter migratory birds.
The "Taijiang Fun Tour" Black-faced Spoonbill Shuttle Route started operations on October 31, 2020. One shuttle bus schedule is available in the morning and one in the afternoon. Online bookings have been available since early October. For the link to the booking page, operational dates, and other information, please visit the official website.
The launch of the Black-faced Spoonbill Shuttle Route will also mean the impending suspension of the Sicao Green Tunnel Shuttle Route and Anshun Tile Paved Salt Fields Shuttle Route for this year. The last buses on these two routes will run on October 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. We hope the two shuttle routes can welcome your visit to Taijiang National Park again next year.
