Blessing from Mazu - the Taijiang National Park Wishes you a Happy Year of the Pig!
The Taijiang National Park Headquarters continues to organize the promotion event for the conservation in the national park in collaboration with the Luermen Tienhogong and Orthodox Luermen Shengmu Temple in the Chinese New Year 2019. The “Blessings from Mazu - Happy Year of the Pig” event will be held on February 5 to 6, 2019 (the Chinese New Year Day and the 2nd Day of the Chinese New Year) in Luermen Tienhogong. It will also be held on February 16, 2019 in Orthodox Luermen Shengmu Temple to coincide with the Lantern Festival.
Both of these sessions will be held at the temple square. Staff will help visitors in line put on stickers starting from 8:30 am. Visitors can redeem the sticker for the survey that attaches to a spring couplet. They can tear off the survey and mail it to the temple to get a Chinese New Year gift. Staff will offer 300 memorial gold coins per day at Luermen Tienhogong, 600 coins in total. They will also offer 600 spring ox keychains in one day at Orthodox Luermen Shengmu Temple.
After visitors remove the survey, they can keep the spring couplet. Everyone is welcome to take one home. Visitors can also pick up limited stickers and postcards in the temple.
