Southbound on National Freeway - National Freeway No.1
Exit at Madou Interchange and connect to County Road 176 
towards Jiali → Take a left turn from Jinxue Rd. (County Road 176 ) to Jiadong Rd. (Route 19 
) → Turn right at Xinsheng Rd. (County Road 176) and go pass Qigu → Stay on the left to connect to Route 17 
(Southbound) → Turn right into South 31-1 
at Xinan Village landmark (or San Bu Deng Restaurant) at around 157 K → Follow the signs of “Liukong Wharf Recreation Area” to arrive at Liukong Service Station & Visitor Center.

and exit at Tainan Interchange → Connect to Anji Rd. (Route 17A

) → Turn right to Shi’erdian Rd. → Then connect back to Sec.5, Gongxue Rd and go straight to Sec.7, Gongxue Rd. → Go onto Guosing Bridge after taking a right turn to Route 17 and go straight towards the north → Turn left into Country Road South 38 at Taiwan Sugar Petrol Station at around 161 K → Go straight towards Sangu Bridge Expressway Route 61 
and turn right at the traffic light → Follow the signs of “Liukong Wharf Recreation Area” to arrive at Liukong Service Station & Visitor Center. - National Freeway No.1 (Rende Interchange) → Transfer to Expressway Route 86
→ Exit at Wanli Interchange towards the west Tainan end → Turn right and connect to Route 17A to go straight towards the north → Turn left into Country Road South 38 at Taiwan Sugar Petrol Station at around 161 K after passing through Guosing Bridge → Go straight towards Sangu Bridge Expressway Route 61 and turn right at the traffic light → Follow the signs of “Liukong Wharf Recreation Area” to arrive at Liukong Service Station & Visitor Center.

Railways to go to Tainan Station, then transfer to Taiwan Tourist Shuttle 99 Taijiang Route and get off at Black-faced Spoonbill Bird-Watching Pavilion Station.

※ Note: Bird-watching season route: Hailiao Mangrove Station, Liukong Station, Black-Faced Spoonbill Ecology Exhibition Hall and Black-faced Spoonbill Bird-Watching Pavilion are only available on holidays during October to April of each year.
