Come take a stroll with the guided tour to explore the wetlands and green building of Taijiang
As a pandemic control measure, the visitor center of Taijiang National Park will move the guide tour service outdoors starting March 7, 2020. Visitors will be able to see the design of stilt houses and many eco-friendly installations and take photos to share with their friends and families. Visitors can get to experience and know the tranquil building cluster surrounded by water and plants.
The outdoor tour is scheduled from Tuesday to Sunday. There are four sessions a day, at 10 and 11 am and 2:30 and 3:30 in the afternoon. Each session lasts 20 minutes, and visitors must register on-site. Those who are interested in the activity are welcome to come to the visitor center at the designated time.
The Taijiang National park visitor center is near Sicao Bridge and officially opened in March 2019. There are unique water stilt houses in white, reflecting on the fish ponds with sparkling lights. The place has become a well-known attraction in Tainan.
Except for the scheduled guided tour being moved outdoors, the visitor center is still open for visitors from 9 am to 5 pm, Tuesday to Sunday. The center has strengthened its pandemic control measures since January by disinfecting the area and keeping the area ventilated. Cleaning alcohol and hand sanitizers are provided to visitors. Front-line service staff have their body temperature measured every day to reinforce the self-directed health management, and they also collaborate with disease control agencies to promote pandemic control measures.
The schedule and content of outdoor guided tours will be adjusted. Please check the official website at https://www.tjnp.gov.tw/ for details. Please also follow the Facebook fan page of the Taijiang National Park Headquarters for the latest information.
