The Taijiang National Park Headquaters hosting "Salt Fields Ecocultural Bicycle Tour" activities

Taijiang National Park has three unique characteristics, its wetland ecology, Taiwan's rich history, and the local fishery and salt industries. In order to promote the public's understanding of the Park's salt field wetland ecology and the culture and history of the local community, the Headquaters has specially organized a series of activities. The participants will ride bicycles and casually travel around to appreciate the scenery of history and culture at Taijiang.

The ride departs from the  Taijiang National Park visitor center and travels by Sicao Artillery Battery, Anshun Salt Fields, Sicao Wetland, Luermen Mansion, Luermen River Estuary (Natural Defense of the Capital), and other scenic areas. Riders will be able to see the natural ecology of salt fields and wetlands in the park and explore many cultural and historical stories. The activities will enable more people to witness the beauty of Taijiang. The goals of energy-saving and carbon reduction can also be achieved as the participants travel around on bicycles, a healthy and eco-friendly means of transportation to help maintain a sustainable green living environment.
