Taijiang National Park will accompany you to welcome the Golden Rat in Bringing Treasure
The Headquaters of Taijiang National Park will organize promotional activities to welcome the Spring Festival. The activities at Luermen Mazu Temple (in Beishanwei) will be held on January 25 and 26, 2020 (The first two days of the Lunar year), and the ones at Orthodox Luermen Sheng-Mu (Mazu) Temple will be held on February 8, 2020 (the day of the Lantern Festival).
Activities at the two locations will be held at the temple squares. The staff will put identification stickers on those waiting in a queue starting at 8:30 in the morning. People use the stickers to receive their Spring Festival questionnaire and complete and return the questionnaire to redeem for a gift. Luermen Mazu Temple will give out 350 commemorative coins a day, for a total of 700 over two days. Orthodox Luermen Sheng-Mu Temple's event is only for one day, and 700 Spring Festival cow keyrings will be given out that day.
After the part of the questionnaire to be submitted is detached, the remaining part can be used as spring couplets for the Year of the Golden Rat. Survey participants can take them home to promote the value and results of conservation. People coming to Tainan for homecoming or the Spring Festival are welcome to visit the visitor center of Taijiang National Park. The center is only closed on New Year's Eve and is open on other days during the Festival.
