The “Searching for Sacred Land in Taijiang” oil painting exhibition will be open on February 17.
PRO ARTS was invited by the Taijiang National Park Headquarters for a profound painting tour in Taijiang. The theme of the artworks is for these painters to searching for the sacred land of Taijiang in their mind. The pieces integrate the creation factors of Taijiang, including natural ecosystem, humanity history, and special industry. The purpose of the exhibition is to help people learn about the valuable resources of the Taijiang National Park by arts. The opening ceremony of the “Searching for Sacred Land in Taijiang” oil painting exhibition will take place on February 17, 2019. Liu Che Chih, the Chairman of PRO ARTS, and Hsieh Wei Sung, the Director of the Taijiang National Park Headquarters, will start the exhibition together. Li Chun Kuan, the municipal advisor of Tainan, Lin Chun Wei, the secretary of Tainan Council Speaker, Chou Ya Ching, the Deputy Director of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, Tainan City Government, and Wu Sen Fang, the Director General of Chao Huang Temple at Haiwei, will be present.
The “Searching for Sacred Land in Taijiang” oil painting exhibition is held from February 17, 2019 (Sun.) to April 7, 2019 (Sun.) at the Special Exhibition Room on the second floor of the Vistor Center in the Taijiang National Park Headquarters. A total of 25 artworks will be displayed and were drawn in the Taijiang National Park. Artists painted the sacred land of Taijiang in their mind on the canvas, unfolding lots of undiscovered beautiful sceneries. We expect that these paintings will help people learn about the valuable resources of the Taijiang National Park, raise the awareness of people on environmental conservation and hope that people can place importance on the environment.
