After crossing the Sicao Bridge, visitors can see a white stilt house on the bank of Yanshui River. This house is the Taijiang National Park Headquarters (hereinafter referred to as the Headquarters) a popular scenic spot in Tainan these years, also known as the Taijiang Academy. This house is surrounded by beautiful green water. The breeze blows gently and the reeds sway. It’s a poetic, eco-friendly green building awarded the Diamond-rated Green Building Label. On February 24, 2019, the Office will again organize the fun family event for environmental education based on the green building. Families and everyone else are welcome.
 
The Headquarters offers a family session of environmental education, “Tour Around in Taijiang Village,” based on this green building. People can sign up for the sessions on holidays. We hope that visitors can feel the profound architectural beauty of the “Taijiang Academy.” We aim to convey the co-existence and co-prosperity between man and nature. Participants work in groups and solve puzzles during the scavenger hunt. Throughout the game, they gradually discover the ingenuity and secret of this green building. They think about the way to use the eco-friendly idea at home during the DIY activity. Come to Taijiang Village with your family after the Spring Festival!
 
Two sessions will be available on February 24, 2019 in the morning and afternoon. The sign-up fee is NT$ 100 per person. To encourage families accompany elders to outdoor activities, the event is free for elders aged 60 and above accompanied by the family. Sign up for the event online. A total of 30 spots are available per session. Families are welcome to work in groups. Sign up starts on February 13 at 10:00 am.
