“Thank You Crab” - Family Fun Treasure Hunt Activity at the Taijiang National Park Visitor Center
Located in Sicao, Tainan, the Taijiang National Park Visitor Center (“Visitor Center”) has been operational since 2019. It employs diverse exhibition methods to showcase the rich cultural history and wetland ecology of Taijiang National Park. The Visitor Center regularly features themed special exhibitions each season, along with film screenings, recreational consulting, and scheduled guided tours, making it a gateway for the public to learn about Taijiang National Park.
From May 2 to June 25, 2023, the Visitor Center will host a family fun treasure hunt activity called “Thank You Crab.” We invite adults and children alike to come and search for paper models of fiddler crabs hidden in various corners of the venue, offering a unique perspective of the Visitor Center.
This activity is targeted at families and groups with children under 12 years old. Participants can register on-site, complete the activity sheet, and exchange it at the service desk for a small cultural and creative gift from the national park.
The Visitor Center offers four scheduled guided tours daily free of charge. The morning sessions focus on “The Cultural History and Natural Ecology of Taijiang National Park” (10:00, 11:00), while the afternoon sessions introduce “Green Architecture of the Taijiang Campus” (14:30, 15:30). Visitors are welcome to register on-site to participate.
