The three-story Sea View Tower in Tainan's Qigu District provides a stunning panoramic view of the Qigu Lagoon and Wangzailiao Sand Bar, making it an ideal spot for sunset watching. After the administrative responsibility of the building was transferred from the Qigu District Office to the Taijiang National Park Headquarters (TJNPH), the tower underwent a multi-million dollar renovation, becoming a new landmark for the area. To showcase this beautiful scenery to both locals and visitors, the TJNP will host the "Sunset Concert at Sea View Tower" on March 2, 2024 at 4 PM, featuring a captivating blend of local and international music for an unforgettable feast of scenery and sound.

The spacious area around the Sea View Tower in Qigu Park, managed by the TJNP, offers expansive views perfect for a leisurely walk, enjoying the sea breeze, and catching the sunset. The tower's recent upgrades include improvements to its roofing and flooring, along with enhanced lighting to make the experience even more spectacular. To further boost local tourism, the TJNPH has invited the Tainan Civic Symphony Orchestra to perform a one-hour concert showcasing both local and internationally acclaimed compositions. In addition, guided tours of the Sea View Tower and the sunset dike will offer insights into the ecology and scenic features of Qigu Lagoon and Wangzailiao Sand Bar, with tours scheduled at 2:30 PM and 3:00 PM. The event is free, and participants who register will receive a meal voucher redeemable at food trucks on-site.
