Besides striving for natural conservation, the Taijiang National Park Headquarters provides diverse interpretation education to help visitors get close to the national park. By continuing to produce picture books on different topics, the Taijiang National Park Headquarters hopes to show how the national park protects the history and culture and conveys the idea of natural conservation by educational entertainment and by explaining complicated ideas in simple language.
The Taijiang National Park Headquarters invited the Yushan National Park Headquarters to organize the “Little Warriors Go Up the Mountain and Down the Sea – Taijiang and Yushan National Park Picture Book Joint Exhibition,” and designed a fun scavenger hunt based on the spirit of adventure and mutual aid in picture books. Buni, a little Bunun girl, rolled into a cave while saving a little black bear and accidentally transcended to Taijiang. She met Dali, a young Siraya boy. They worked together to bring the little black bear back home. The scavenger hunt includes six interactive games and one secret level. The game is played in the form of walking (guarding) and orientation activities. The content of the picture book is connected and integrated with the humanity and history of Taijiang and the ecological conservation of Yushan. This exhibition is expected to convey the concept of natural conservation and environmental sustainability of the national park.
