Come to do papercutting DIY of Black-faced Spoonbills in wintertime to celebrate the Chinese New Year

In order to let the public understand Taijiang through diverse and interesting ways, Taijiang National Park Administration (hereinafter referred to as Taijiang Office) has planned to hold the "Come to do papercutting DIY of Black-faced Spoonbills in wintertime to celebrate the Chinese New Year" event during the winter holidays of February 6 (Saturday) and February 21 (Sunday), 2021, so the public can experience the traditional papercutting art including papercutting window decorations and three-dimensional “chūn” (which means spring in Chinese) characters. There are also the "Story telling of Taijiang Papercutting - Taijiang Humanities and Cultures and Paper Sculpture Art Special Exhibition" in the special exhibition gallery on the 2nd floor of the Visitor Center of the Taijiang Office, so that the public and parent-child families can enjoy a relaxed and interesting New Year, learning about the rich ecology and cultures of the national park.

Students participating in the production of DIY are recommended to be over 12 years old. This event is expected to open from now until 12 A.M. of February 4, and each class will be open for online registration with 40 vacancies each with a fee of TWD100 per person.
