The Taijiang National Park Headquarters built a diamond-grade green building at the north side of the estuary of Yanshui River. Besides being an administration center, it is used as a multi-functional venue for environmental education and recreation. Therefore, the event “Treasure Hunt in Taijiang” will be held on April 16. Volunteers use driftwood and recycled materials to make treasures in the wetland in Taijiang. These treasures may transform into fish, water birds or fiddler crabs. They are scattered everywhere. Visitor and families can learn about the rich ecology and culture of the national park in a relaxed, interesting atmosphere through scavenger hunt and a penholder DIY activity.

The event is held on Saturday, April 16, 2022. Two sessions are available, one in the morning and another one in the afternoon. Up to 30 people may sign up online for each session, 60 people in total. Signing up starts today and ends on April 14 at 12 AM. The visitors should be at least 12 years old. Each participant must pay NT$ 100. For more information about this event, please visit the website of Taijiang National Park.
