Highlights

Liukong Visitor Center
Liukong Visitor Center

Liukong Visitor Center is situated in Qigu District, and is so named for its 6 drainage canals. When coming to Qigu, be sure to list Liukong Visitor Center as your first stop.

Lungshan Community

Lungshan Temple’s magnificent architecture has been likened to that of a ‘royal palace’ by the locals. It is the religious center of the Lungshan village community, which is located around the Qigu Lagoon area, and is devoted to deities such as the Chifu Royal Lord. The Lungshan Fishing Port starts auctioning its catch of the day from as early as 6:30 each morning. Come here for a fresh stock of seafood. We recommend the Six Golden Treasures Feast: Dine on oysters, milkfish, tilapia, Asian hard clam, Chinese Venus clam, and white shrimp.

Qigu Lagoon Raft Ride
Qigu Lagoon Raft Ride

Qigu Lagoon was formed as a result of sediment deposits that settled at the bottom of the inland sea of old Taijiang. Local fishermen made use of this natural resource to farm fish and oysters, giving rise to a unique aquaculture industry.
